chose

Thinking about this life that I have been inserted into. Was I chosen for it or did it just happen? Why am I one of the lucky ones that gets to know modern medicine, a stable roof over my head - toilet paper, even. What do I do with this, with this blessed me? I am in a position to help so many, as powerless as I sometimes feel. Why would I not?
